The Dancing Betty at Dalton Park shopping area have approached us to be one of their chosen charities this year.
Families, Volunteers and Staff were invited to the open day. Everyone had a wonderful time. The food was good, the staff friendly and helpful and activities were provided on the day to keep children occupied.
Jo Cockburn and Lindsay Marshall delivered so many Easter Eggs generously donated by BT staff for our families that they could hardly carry them.

We would like to give a big thank you to Barnard Castle Prep School and Senior School for all the shoe boxes they donated to us at Christmas.
Our families were very happy to receive the boxes and were overwhelmed by the generosity and the thought that someone took the time to think of them this Christmas. The children enjoyed playing with all the toys.
Once again the staff at BT and BT Open Reach were very generous at Christmas. We had many shoe box deliveries and the photograph shows just a few out of the many.
Our families were overwhelmed and very thankful for all the presents they received.
Based on the Coast at Seaham, five start boutique hotel Seaham Hall has formed a team, made up of staff from a number of it’s departments in order to assist our charity’s cause. The volunteers are offering their time to visit and support local families where and when it’s needed: this might include painting, gardening and doing the shopping. They are also planning to assist by organising shoe box campaigns providing basic foods, toiletries, toys and so on.
